The Founder
Nelson Duran is the Founder and Owner of NJ Prime Construction & Renovations. Born in the Dominican Republic and of Spanish and Dominican heritage, Nelson brings a diverse perspective and strong work ethic to the construction industry in New Jersey.

A graduate of law school, Nelson developed a deep understanding of contracts, structure, and accountability — skills that now directly benefit his clients. His legal education gives him a unique advantage in managing projects with clarity, organization, and professionalism.

Inspired by his father, a developer who built from the ground up, Nelson grew up around construction and real estate. That early exposure shaped his appreciation for quality craftsmanship and long-term value. Today, he carries that legacy forward through NJ Prime, focusing on precision, transparency, and building projects that stand the test of time.
